Career and Competence Management

Decisions on promotion and appointment to a position at Turkonnect are made by the executive board in accordance with the assessment of the following criteria:

- Study of performance indicators, and

- competence check from the point of view of the relevant position.

A career development map for each employee is created annually as a result of interviews with the head of the department and the head of the human resources department in accordance with the employee's development plan.

Turkonnect company offers interdepartmental rotation and employment opportunities in foreign offices. Vacancies are announced within the company, and candidates for Turkonnect employees are considered first of all.


Selection and placement

Recruitment to Turkonnect is carried out on the basis of annual personnel planning, which contains the available positions for recruitment. Incoming applications are first considered in terms of the acceptability of resumes to fill open positions.

The recruitment process consists of interviewing the relevant department heads in addition to the IK manager, analyzing the personality inventory, and testing technical knowledge in certain positions.

In addition, candidates referred to by Turkonnect employees are also included in the selection and placement process. A Turkonnect employee will receive various gifts if he is hired.

 


Efficiency improvement and evaluation

Turkonnect Performance Development and Evaluation System,

- Standard and objective assessment of employee performance,

Performance assessment is conducted annually based on goals, criteria of the business structure and competencies. In this context, an interim assessment will be carried out in July. In this face-to-face meeting with the head of the relevant department and the employee, the employee is given oral feedback, and the last six months are mutually evaluated based on goals and criteria.

Performance estimates become apparent thanks to the initial assessment made in January. The employee and the head of the relevant department mutually evaluate the employee's performance over the previous year, and highly effective employees are rewarded with opportunities such as promotions, appointments, bonuses and training.

Training and development

The training and development needs of Turkonnect employees are determined based on the following data:

- Technical knowledge and skills required for the position,

- Competencies required for the position,

- Performance evaluation.

According to the information generated according to the above factors, it provides planning of the training parts for both technical and professional development, as well as for personal development.

Professional development courses are designed specifically for the institution/person in accordance with the needs of the person and group to be trained and taking into account the structure of the sector.

On the other hand, personal development trainings are planned to develop the behavior that employees should demonstrate in order to achieve higher success in their work.

 

At the beginning of each year, training plans are drawn up for the employees of each department as a result of separate meetings between the HR manager and the heads of departments. This study also examines the comment sections "evaluator" and "employee" in the performance evaluation forms.

Salary management

The salary range in Turkonnect is determined according to each position and in accordance with the study of salaries in the labor market. A rational and fair bonus system is used for various working groups. Bonuses are paid periodically or annually, depending on the position held.

Social benefits

Within the framework of social opportunities, employees are provided with food cards, transportation services for staff, and private medical insurance covering inpatient and outpatient treatment.

Within the framework of the Turkonnect Club, created by the human resources department, Personal Development Seminars are regularly organized throughout the year, open to all our employees, as well as movies, bowling, concerts and any other events. Social events are also organized.

Internship Opportunities

Internship applications are accepted from February to May each year. Turkonnect accepts applications only from students of the Faculties of Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Electronics and Communications, Software Development, Computer Technology and Information Systems.

Applications are accepted by sending a RESUME to job@Turkonnect.tr . In the applications, candidates for an internship are asked to indicate in which field they want to do an internship and how many working days the internship application with a cover letter is.

According to the information received, the HR department contacts the candidates, and the HR department employee and the employee of the relevant department conduct a personal interview with the candidate. The results of the interview are communicated to the candidates no later than two weeks later.

Internships take place in June, July, August and September.
